I adjusted the shorts pattern I sewed earlier. Before (pink one on the left), there was really too much room, so much that my husband, who hardly notices what I wear, commented that the shorts were kind of big. The after version is the green print one on the right. The green floral cotton fabric is from Amy Butler's Charm collection. I had slightly less than one metre because I had used some of the fabric a long time ago for another project. Thankfully, it was enough to sew a pair of shorts. But I had to sacrifice the pockets and the double cuffed hem. It was a quick sew, took a few hours on Saturday evening. The adjusted version still fits comfortably with a lot of ease, so that I can lounge around at home in it and even sit cross-legged on the floor. And the fabric is oh so comfortable and airy. I asked my husband and he said yes, this one is much better. So I am certifying this shorts pattern as TNT (tried and tested). By the way, I miss having my daughter take my blog photos for me. My son takes the photos for me now, and I end up with super short legs and a very long torso!
